Adopting a dog from Woodgreen

We’re delighted that you’re interested in adopting a pet and are looking to Woodgreen for help. You may have seen us on the recent Channel 4 series The Dog House where you’ll have seen some of the homeless and vulnerable dogs we’ve been caring for and helping to find new homes.

As a result of this and the pandemic we are receiving a huge volume of requests from people offering a home to one of our dogs, which we really appreciate. In order to get started, please watch our video from Helen, who will explain what to expect when registering your interest to adopt a dog.

How we match dogs to new homes

Find out more about our adoption process

Here at Woodgreen, we get thousands of queries every week – around 600 for every dog we are looking to rehome. With so many queries, it may be that we cannot offer you a potential match.

Even if we do not have a dog that matches your circumstances, we will do everything we can to help you on your journey to finding a new friend, wherever that may be from.

Please leave your contact details below, and we’ll follow up with additional information on how our rehoming process works.
