Adopt a rescue pet from Wood Green

We rehome a wide range of pets, from dogs and cats to guinea pigs, rabbits, rats - even ducks and chickens!

We believe every pet deserves a warm, safe, loving home. That’s why we never turn away an animal in need, and why we help even the most ‘difficult’ pets with personalised health and behavioural support until they’re ready to search for their forever home.

As rescues, the animals in our care have been through more than your average pet. So when it comes to their next home we’re looking for much more than your average pet owner!

Ready to adopt a pet? Let’s get started.

Adopting a rescue or buying a pet is a big decision, and we know everyone who comes to us has already taken a lot of time to feel confident they’re ready for a rescue. We’re delighted that you’re looking for Wood Green to help! You’re not alone: we receive thousands of applications every month from people looking to adopt one of our pets.

Many of the pets in our care, whether they’re a lurcher or a Dwarf Lop, have very specific needs when it comes to their new forever home. We work hard to find every pet the perfect match based on their needs, and it may be that we cannot match you with a pet right away especially if you’re interested in adopting a cat or dog.

To start your journey with us, you can either apply to be considered for any pet ready for adoption, or you can see who is looking for a home and register your interest in a particular pet.
