Can I live with dogs?

Can I live with cats?

Can I live with small pets?

Additional information

Carly and Azul are looking for a home where there are other hens of a similar size that they can be mixed with. There can be other pets in the home but the chicken enclosure will need to be safely secured away from them.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Chickens can make an excellent addition to any family with all ages, they can become very friendly and enjoy following you round the garden and even popping in the house.

What type of environment would suit me?

Chickens need lots of space to keep them fit, healthy and happy, the ideal size for 3 medium sized hens should consist of: A 3ft by 3ft (91cm by 91cm) or bigger coop with nest boxes. If unable to free range, then they should have a 10ft long by 5ft wide (305cm by 152cm) run attached to the coop for daytime exploring.

About Carly & Azul

Carly is a small hen who lives with her cockerel companion Azul. This pair are looking for a home together where they can be mixed with other hens of a similar size.

If you have a small existing flock already and would be interested in giving them both a home, please complete our online registration form.

Things to note

Due to Avian Flu restrictions in the UK, we are only able to rehome to bio-secure enclosures currently. For more information on restrictions, please visit
