Additional information

Dexy is under socialised with dogs and doesn't know how to behave around them, he is receiving ongoing training for this. He has a very high chase drive for anything small and fluffy.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Dexy is an extremely active boy who is looking for a training minded, active family who can keep up with him. He can be a little shy when first meeting new people but offering him a toy or tasty treat always helps. He can live with children aged 10 years and over due to his ongoing training needs.

What type of environment would suit me?

Dexy is looking for a new home with a family who have a secure, private, 6ft fenced garden. He loves areas he can fully explore and sniff, engaging with his environment and allowing him to charge around off lead, playing with his toys. He will need to be walked in quiet areas where dogs can be actively avoided, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the walk.

Things to note

Once Dexy feels comfortable in his new home, you will start to see his personality and sometimes cheeky side emerge. He has missed out on full socialising and having an outlet for his terrier needs which he is now looking for. He loves his toys, especially anything soft and squeaky, in true terrier style, he likes to destroy them but that's what their there for so don't spend too much money on them. With time, the correct training and terrier outlet he needs, he will make a wonderful dog in time.
