Additional information

Hazel is one of the rare rabbits who is looking for a home as a single rabbit. She could go to a home with other rabbits living there already, however she would need to be housed a distance away from them.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

What type of environment would suit me?

Rabbits need lots of space to keep them fit, healthy and happy, the ideal outdoor accommodation for a pair should consist of a either a shed/wendy house or a 6ft by 2ft single tier hutch (183cm by 61cm) hutch, attached to a 10ft long by 5ft wide by 3ft high (305cm by 153 cm) run which are joined at all times.

Alternatively, the ideal indoor accommodation for a pair should consist of a large room that the rabbits can have 24hr access to, plus daily access to other areas in the home, as well as a secure run to use outdoors in the garden in the warmer months. It’s important they are able to hop, stretch and jump on to things to express their natural behaviours.

About Hazel

Hazel is one of the rare rabbits who is looking for a home as a single rabbit.

Normally all rabbits require rabbit companionship. However, Hazel is an exception!

She is not happy in the company of other rabbits and seems much happier living on her own.

Her favourite toys are cardboard boxes, which she can sometimes be a little bit protective over as she loves them so much!
