Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Rabbits do enjoy the companionship of humans and can become very affectionate and enjoy taking tasty fresh forage from your hands. Rabbits do not enjoy being handled and they can find loud noises and sudden movement scary, so they are often suited to families with slightly older children.

What type of environment would suit me?

Rabbits need lots of space to keep them fit, healthy and happy, the ideal outdoor accommodation for a pair should consist of a either a shed/wendy house or a 6ft by 2ft single tier hutch (183cm by 61cm) hutch, attached to a 10ft long by 5ft wide by 3ft high (305cm by 153 cm) run which are joined at all times.

Alternatively, the ideal indoor accommodation for a pair should consist of a large room that the rabbits can have 24hr access to, plus daily access to other areas in the home, as well as a secure run to use outdoors in the garden in the warmer months. It’s important they are able to hop, stretch and jump on to things to express their natural behaviours.

About Luna & Watson

Luna is a female dwarf lop and is looking for her forever home with her companion Watson, a male lion head cross.

This sweet pair have grown a lot in confidence and will happily hop over to the door of their run as soon as someone approaches and take food from your hand. They enjoy spending their time together, either laying in their favourite hide or enjoying their favourite hobby; eating!

If you feel you can offer this pair the home they are looking for or would like more information, please complete the registration from.
