Who I can live with
Can I live with dogs?
Can I live with cats?
Can I live with small pets?
There can be other pets in the home but the hamster enclosure will need to be in a room that can be shut off from any cats or dogs.
Family and environment
What kind of family am I looking for?Roborovski's are the smallest (and fastest) of the hamster breeds, so do not always make suitable pets for young children - they can be difficult to handle and are very quick. They are great fun to watch and will spend lots of time running around exploring their enclosure. Hamsters are nocturnal so will sleep more in the day and be active at night, they may not always appreciate being woken up so may not suit a family who are keen to have lots of interaction.
What type of environment would suit me?Dwarf hamsters require plenty of floor space as they prefer to travel low to the ground than climb. The ideal size is an 80cm wide by 50cm deep by 35 cm high cage with 6mm bar spacing.
About PabloPablo is a young Roborovski hamster who is looking for her forever home. Being the breed she is, she is very active and very fast! She loves nothing more than having lots to explore, as well as tubes and hammocks to climb into. She also enjoys having a cosy, comfy house to snuggle up and sleep in when she's tired from running around. Being a typical Roborovski, she is difficult to handle due to her small size and how fast she is. If you can offer Pablo the home she is looking for, please complete our online registration.
