Additional information

Pepper MUST live with another dog, she is extremely worried and gains a lot of confidence from having a canine companion. She could also live with a cat and securely housed small pets.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Pepper is looking for a quieter household without too much going on. She could share her home with teenagers and will need all visitors to respect her space.

What type of environment would suit me?

Pepper would love to live somewhere where she is welcome on the beds and sofa! Her safe spaces are on the bed and sofa and she must have access to these in her new home. She would benefit from access to a private garden where she can relax and explore.
She becomes anxious in new places and would suit a family who are willing to initially stick to the same routine and walking routes.

About Pepper

Pepper came to us as a stray in very poor condition. She's an extremely nervous girl who needs sensitive patient owners who are willing to support her in her journey to see that the world doesn't have to be so scary. It is likely to take an extended period of time for her to settle in to her new home and begin to trust.

Once she knows you Pepper enjoys affection and likes to snuggle with you on the sofa. She enjoys going on gentle walks where she can take things at her own pace and likes her food!

Things to note

We will only be considering homes with another dog for Pepper as this is so important to building her confidence.
