Support and Health
How much training will I need?
Can I be left alone?
Do I have any medical conditions?
Who I can live with
Can I live with dogs?
Can I live with cats?
Can I live with small pets?
Additional information
Rocky will need to be the only pet in his new home. He can be reactive towards dogs that he sees on walks and is undergoing training for this. He has a high chase drive and wouldn't be suitable to live with smaller pets.Family and environment
What kind of family am I looking for?
Rocky's ideal family is a small, quiet one as he is a sensitive chap. He can live with teenagers and over and would be better suited to a home without young children visiting regularly. We have found that he can be a bit worried by some handling. What type of environment would suit me?
Rocky cannot go off lead as he is worried soul. He would prefer to live and be walked in quiet areas as he can be very sensitive to sound and gets overwhelmed in busy environments. Having his own private garden, ideally without neighbouring dogs will allow you to play games such as find it, which he loves.About Rocky
This lovely man is Rocky, he can be nervous, to begin with, but has lots of love to give once he has had time to get to know you. He can get very bouncy and excitable at times and has a heart of gold. He loves to snuggle up with you on the sofa and has earnt the nickname 'Land Dolphin' as he pulls over excitedly to his favourite people!
As he is a sensitive boy, potential new owners should be prepared that it may take him longer to feel settled and comfortable in his new home. He loves his long walks where he uses his nose to explore the world around him. He's a fun chap who likes to play tuggy and fetch games too.
Things to note
Rocky is currently on foster and she absolutely adores him. He makes her smile everyday and you can have this too.
