Meet the stars of The Dog House
Every animal arrives at Woodgreen because someone could no longer look after them, or because they were found abandoned or stray. Big, small, pedigree or pooch, we’ll make sure they’re fit and well thanks to our onsite veterinary team and surgery. And if they’re shy, angry or scared, we’ll help them get used to people again and what life in a home feels and sounds like.
Only once we’re sure a pet is ready for another home will we start to find them a new family. Sometimes it’s love at first sight. Sometimes it takes a while. But we’re always here until we find a home for our guests.

No one wanted to take on this lively Lurcher puppy
Seven-month-old Lurcher puppy Peaches came from a loving home but after finding out they were expecting a baby, his owners were worried about Peaches jumping up at the mum-to-be. Peaches was a bit unsure of himself on arriving at Woodgren, but our amazing dog handler Sophie really went above and beyond to give him the love and care he needed until we could find him a more permanent home.

We're here for pets like Tiddles
We couldn't give dogs like Tiddles the vital care, support and safety they need without the support of people like you. Will you give pets at Woodgreen a miracle?
