Meet the stars of The Dog House

Four legs and two - meet the dogs we've helped at Woodgreen, and the humans getting them back on their paws.

Say hello to the pets we help

Every animal arrives at Woodgreen because someone could no longer look after them, or because they were found abandoned or stray. Big, small, pedigree or pooch, we’ll make sure they’re fit and well thanks to our onsite veterinary team and surgery. And if they’re shy, angry or scared, we’ll help them get used to people again and what life in a home feels and sounds like.

Only once we’re sure a pet is ready for another home will we start to find them a new family. Sometimes it’s love at first sight. Sometimes it takes a while. But we’re always here until we find a home for our guests.

Please help homeless pets in need

Pets like Dennis. When he arrived with us, he was missing much of his fur, sore and in pain, covered in fleas and mites. After being treated by our vet Dennis' fur started to grow back, and now he's thriving and in a new, loving home. We help around 80 homeless pets every week - help us give them the care and special attention they need.

How we find the perfect owner

Our dogs, cats and small animals are a special bunch, and as rescues they've been through much more than your average pet. So when it comes to their next home, we're looking for much more than your average pet owner.
